Like most Clojure libraries, it provides the right balance of simplicity with just the complexity you really need. Unfortunately, one of those needed complexities is a dependency on an underlying Java logging library. ClojureScript is also very adapted to blockchain development through its interoperability with JavaScript and the Node ecosystem. Finally, the reactive framework re-frame is very well suited to blockchain development combining reactive programming, functional programming, and immutable data.
